About the artist
Cristina Abondano is a Colombia-based artist. After graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2016, she began painting while working as an architectural designer in the city of Boston. She has since moved back to her hometown, Cartagena, Colombia, where she works as a painter and part-time residential architect.
Cristina’s artistic endeavors are guided by her professional training, which reflects in her work as an inclination for calculated composition, stark contrast of light and shadow, and a cohesive chromatic selection. She is currently working on a collection of landscapes and seascapes.

Do you ship internationally?Yes! Original paintings can be shipped internationally from my hometown in Colombia. To ensure safe and affordable delivery worldwide, large-format paintings are shipped without a frame, rolled up in protective tubing. The painting would then need to be taken to a frame shop to be stretched over new wooden stretcher bars once it is received. Small-format paintings can be delivered in cardboard boxes. Prints of my works are sold in the US and the UK via my website www.cristina-abondano.pixels.com, and shipping usually takes 3-4 business days.
